Energy and Emissions Management
We're working to cut our carbon footprint through greater energy efficiency, a deliberate shift to renewable sources, and disciplined emissions tracking, backed by Sri Lanka's first SBTi-validated net-zero target and the country's largest single rooftop solar installation.
Water Management
As the first Sri Lankan manufacturer to sign the UN Global Compact's CEO Water Mandate, we work to reduce freshwater withdrawal, reclaim and reuse water across our processes, and manage effluent responsibly, protecting the rivers and watersheds our mills depend on.
Chemicals Management
Our Chemical Management System is built on ZDHC MRSL practice adopted back in 2015, full alignment with international regulations like REACH and GHS, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, giving brand partners a chemical safety standard they can verify rather than take on trust.
Material and Waste Management
Having achieved Zero Waste to Landfill status, we continue pushing further through a 4R framework, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, that includes transforming plastic waste into yarn rather than treating waste as an unavoidable cost of production.
Biodiversity Management
From Diyathuru Uyana, Sri Lanka's first biodiversity wetland park built by a fabric manufacturer, to mangrove restoration at Eluwilayaya and measured carbon sequestration on our own land, we treat biodiversity protection as active restoration work, not passive land conservation.
