Corporate Governance
Hayleys Fabric PLC complies fully with the Companies Act No. 7 of 2007, the Listing Rules of the Colombo Stock Exchange, and the Code of Best Practice on Corporate Governance 2007, issued jointly by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka, which we’ve voluntarily adopted. The Board has developed and approved a set of broad governance principles that set out its approach in this area, covering everything from board composition to risk oversight.
Each year, the Board reports on its corporate governance activities and performance in a dedicated Corporate Governance report, published as part of the Annual Report, so shareholders can track not just financial results but how the company is actually being governed.
